Internet of Things (IoT) devices bring computing power closer to where data is generated, achieving unprecedented levels of efficiency and automation. However, as IoT applications and functions evolve, so do the risks.
In the past, the number of devices deployed in the field was far less than it is now, and they typically remained in a fixed location throughout their lifecycle. Today, enterprises often manage millions of devices, all of which regularly receive updates and communicate with external resources. Every interaction can contain security vulnerabilities that could be exploited by attackers.
Therefore, I have written numerous specialized programs to mitigate security risks through strict server isolation (see diagram below).
